From Six to Ninety-Six: When a Community Says Yes
In Pacita 1, San Pedro, Laguna, football wasn’t always within reach.
For many children, the game was something seen from afar—on screens, on streets, or in stories. But never something they could truly call their own.
Until Lingap Leads changed that.
What began with just six brave players has now grown into 96 young footballers — each one carrying a story of courage, curiosity, and newfound belief.
This is not just growth in numbers.

Three times a week—Monday, Wednesday, Friday—the fields of Pacita come alive.

Under the guidance of Coach Nii Ayi, the program embraces a player-centered, game-based philosophy—one that goes beyond teaching how to pass or shoot.
Here, players learn how to think.

From the youngest (ages 4–6) to the rising youth (14–16), every session becomes a lesson in confidence, discipline, and identity.
