Building character, nurturing talent, and inspiring futures through the beautiful game.

In the quiet town of Brgy. Jaena Norte, Jamindan, Capiz, a spark of hope was lit in 2015. It began with one man, MSg Tomas V. Mahinay Jr. (RET PA), and a simple yet powerful dream: to give children a reason to believe, to dream bigger, and to fight for a brighter future—through the beautiful game of football.

From its humble roots, Camp Peralta Football Club (CPFC) has grown into more than just a team. It is a family, a school of discipline, and a sanctuary for kids who dare to dream beyond the four walls of their classrooms. For many of its players, football isn’t just a sport—it is a lifeline, a chance to discover who they are and who they can become.

From Army Grounds to Football Fields

The club proudly carries the name Camp Peralta Jr., home to the 3rd Infantry (Spearhead) Division of the Philippine Army. This name isn’t just symbolic—it represents values that every CPFC player learns to live by: discipline, teamwork, and resilience.

Just as soldiers train with courage and commitment, so do the children of CPFC. Every session, every drill, every match is a battle to grow stronger, smarter, and braver—on and off the pitch.

Football Programs at CPFC

CPFC opens its doors to children as young as 4 years old, guiding them all the way into their late teens and beyond. Training happens every dayweekday evenings after school, and sunrise sessions on weekends.

The club’s coaching philosophy is simple yet powerful: small-sided games, more touches, more learning. Every child gets the chance to play, think, and grow. Under the guidance of coaches like PFC Steve Advincula (AFC “C” License) and MSg Tomas V. Mahinay Jr. (PFF grassroots licensed), young players are molded not just into athletes, but into leaders.

And for those who cannot afford it, CPFC doesn’t close its gates. Free training clinics and outreach programs ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the chance to fall in love with football.

More Than Just Players

Many of CPFC’s kids are military dependents, others come from nearby communities—but once they put on the same jersey, they are one team, one family.

Beyond regular training, CPFC also offers:

    • Girls’ & Women’s Football – because the pitch belongs to everyone
    • Goalkeeper Training – for the brave ones who guard the goal
    • Futsal – sharpening quick feet and sharper minds
    • School Outreach Programs – bringing football where it’s needed most

Every program is a step closer to the dream: to use football as a tool for character, education, and opportunity.

Battles and Victories

Like soldiers fighting with courage, CPFC’s young players have marched into tournaments across the region and the nation. They’ve competed in:

    • Panay Football Association (PFA)
    • Iloilo-Guimaras RFA (IGRFA)
    • PFF National Championships (U-12, U-16, U-19)
    • West Visayas Regional Athletic Association
    • Provincial and Division Meets

One of their proudest triumphs came when they earned the Bronze Medal at the Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (Elementary Level)—a reminder that dreams, when matched with discipline, can become victories.

Service Beyond the Field

CPFC’s mission is not just about winning games. It’s about winning lives. The club runs anti-bullying campaigns, educational support programs, and community outreach, showing kids that football is more than scoring goals—it’s about standing up for one another, respecting differences, and building confidence.

Parents, schools, and the local government stand behind the team, sharing the belief that football can change lives. Every bus ride to a tournament, every small contribution, every cheer from the sidelines fuels the dream.

The Mission Ahead

The road forward isn’t easy. CPFC dreams of:

  • Producing national-level players
  • Earning scholarships for its youth
  • Building a community football field open to everyone

Challenges remain—financial support, more qualified trainers, and stronger backing from local leaders. But CPFC has never been about backing down. With its motto, “No One is Left Behind,” the club continues to fight for every child’s dream.

Annual bonding events—like Christmas parties where kids receive football gifts and recognition—remind everyone that CPFC is more than a team. It is family. It is hope.

Dream Big. Play Brave.

At Camp Peralta Football Club, every training session is a reminder: keep the ball rolling, dream big, and enjoy the beautiful game.

With their team chant—“Camp Peralta, Win! Win! Win!”—ringing through the fields, these young warriors march forward not just as footballers, but as dreamers, leaders, and future champions.
